LET IT HEREBY BE KNOWN to all the citizens of the Town of Hillsborough that we the Board of Selectmen proclaim the 11th Day of September, 2007 as FRANCOIS 'NOEL' SAGNA DAY This honor is bestowed upon Noel Sagna in recognition of his year of Americorps Volunteer Service to youth in our community and for his following achievements: WHEREAS, Noel organized, supervised and performed hundreds of hours of community service with youth on a variety of service projects WHEREAS, Noel raised thousands of dollars through many community fundraising events to benefit and promote afterschool programming. WHEREAS, Noel worked directly with youth at local afterschool programs and the Project Genesis Teen Center. WHEREAS, Noel was a role model for community organizing and a strong advocate for children. He gave unselfishly of his time and was an inspiration to our community. NOW, THEREFORE, on behalf of the Board of Selectmen and the citizens of the Town of Hillsborough, We want to Thank Noel for his tireless and dedicated work for the children of our community and to extend our best wishes in all his future endeavors.
